During the 67th Zonta International Convention taking place in Vancouver, Canada from July 11-14, 2026. During this convention Zonta Club Kathmandu was recognised with the Zonta Excellence in Service and Advocacy Award for the biennium 2024-2026 for the club’s outstanding work to strengthen collective actions to prevent offline and online violence against women and girls.
This is an exceptional achievement as every biennium, out of 1,100 clubs, 6 Zonta Clubs are selected for this award during the convention and our Club has now received it for 2 consecutive bienniums
On behalf of Zonta Club Kathmandu, President Ztn. Bina Rana (2024-2026)received the award. 10 delegates from Nepal are attending the convention this year.
