WHO IS YOUR FAVOURITE PERSON TO TRAVEL WITH?

Travelling is a mental reset. It clears away all the clutter in my mind, leaving me recharged with fresh energy and positivity. After returning from a trip, I feel so revitalised that I can’t wait to dive back into work. My favourite travel companion is my husband; my partner and best friend. We don’t need to spend much time planning; whether it’s a long vacation or a quick getaway to Dakshinkali for some fritters, we go with the flow. Even these short escapes from our hectic schedules make a significant impact on our minds. We both love nature, and when we travel, we make a point to disconnect from our phones. It’s in these moments that we engage in deep, meaningful conversations. We talk about everything from love and relationships to work, personal growth, and our future goals. Being away from the daily routine brings a new level of clarity to our discussions, allowing us to reflect on our lives in a more profound way. These trips are not just about relaxation; they help us reset mentally, reconnect with each other, and return home with new ideas and inspiration for both our personal and professional lives.

My favourite person to travel with is someone who brings a sense of adventure and positivity. They enjoy exploring new places, trying different foods, and adapting to cultures. Travelling with someone who helps make every trip even more memorable.

Beyond the discoveries, the journey deepens your connection with your travelling partner. Each trip becomes a chapter in a story you are writing together, making every adventure feel richer and more meaningful.

I am not someone who travels often but when I do, it’s always with my best friend, because I love spending time with him, and his company makes everything better. Normally, when I travel with others, my social energy drains quickly, and I start to feel homesick. But with him, it’s completely different; time flies, and I feel completely at ease. We are also very budget-conscious travellers. We prefer to experience local foods and stay in affordable accommodations, stretching our budget across multiple destinations rather than spending it all in one day on bar hopping and expensive outings. We like to make the most of every place we visit, and because he’s an art major with a deep passion for history and culture, he always has fascinating stories to share. Thanks to him, I am never bored.

Every time I have travelled, I have been with different people either it was my colleagues or friends or my sisters. So, I do not have the specific favourite travel buddy. But whoever I have travelled with, I have thoroughly enjoyed their company because of our similar sense of adventure or curiosity which made the experience even more fun.

I prefer traveling alone. My own company is my favourite when it comes to travelling. I like observing things, making new friends, collecting new experiences which is not possible when you are with other people. You get distracted when you are travelling with someone else and are bound to be acting in a certain way.

I get time for myself and get to discover myself more when I travel alone. I get time to think and figure things out. I get to do what I feel like doing rather than planning things out according to a mutual preference. I also find it adventurous.
