Dr Smriti Shakya is an interventional cardiologist at Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre, Teaching Hospital. Her passion for service and helping others led her to pursue a career in medicine. She aspires that every individual in the country receives essential medical attention, regardless of financial limitations. Beyond the hospital, she engages fervently in social work, orchestrating and participating in numerous free health camps. She creates YouTube videos to educate and bring awareness among the general public on health-related issues.

Besides work, she loves singing and poetry. With a soulful voice, she has done many covers that have found appreciation among her listeners on social media platforms. In this edition of WOW, the beautiful, kind and talented Dr Smriti shares about what makes her life beautiful.
