Aura of Togetherness by Sabita Dangol
Sabita Dangol’s second art exhibition with Siddhartha Art Gallery presents a cohesive, interconnected, and multidimensional energy of our world. The exhibition was inaugurated by Charu Chadha, Editor of Business 360 and Editor at Large of WOW magazines, Media 9, on November 27 at Baber Mahal Revisited.

In her latest series, Sabita presents elephants, camels, horses, birds, and human figures woven into vivid landscapes. The art celebrates the timeless harmony that comes with togetherness. Her work invites the viewer to explore the coexistence and unity of life through its whimsical and playful nature. It urges us to be more aware, more reflective and more caring towards the world around us. Sabita’s Aura of Togetherness emphasises the shared energy that connects us all. She seeks to reveal the invisible energy that binds all living creatures through colour, line, motif and form.

Charu Chadha said, ‘‘Female artists like Sabita shape our society in powerful, subtle ways. Her work invites us to expand our perspective and enrich our collective imagination”.
Sangeeta Thapa, Founder of Siddhartha Art Gallery, delivered the opening remarks, emphasising the importance of thoughtful cultural spaces and acknowledging Sabita Dangol’s ability to portray shared rhythms between humans, animals and the environment.

The exhibition is open from November 26 to December 28. Visitors are welcome to explore her collection of interconnectivity and timeless harmony within society.

Blind cricket uses a rattling white plastic ball to help players locate it by sound. Bowlers deliver the ball underarm after confirming the striker’s readiness and calling “play”. Teams field eleven players, including at least four who are fully blind. For fairness, all players wear blindfolds.

The Cricket Association of Nepal honoured the team with a cash prize of Rs one million at a programme held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Stadium on November 25.

The Social Spoon serves its first Vegetarian Supper Club
The Social Spoon by Ruchi Rathi and Archana Sarda debuted its first vegetarian supper club on November 28 at KL Residency. Diners witnessed an experience that felt intimate and imaginative. Designed to bring strangers together over a five-course meal, the inaugural volume embraced a rich Rajasthani theme; one that blended nostalgia, storytelling and culinary craft with effortless charm.

Thoughtfully curated, the hosts opened the evening with a gentle welcome, setting the tone for an experience that prioritised both flavour and community. The guest list was a tapestry of personalities: an IT engineer, a jewellery designer, a creative entrepreneur and several others who arrived alone but quickly felt part of something shared.
Each course came with a story pulling diners into the cultural memory of Rajasthan. The menu unfolded like a journey across the state – earthy spices, festive aromas and heirloom recipes lovingly reinterpreted for the contemporary palate. As the dishes arrived, conversations deepened, laughter increased and the dining table slowly transformed into a collective comfort zone.
To ease guests into the experience, the evening also featured light ice-breaking games that allowed strangers to become dinner companions within minutes. Between courses, playful moments wove seamlessly into heartfelt exchanges, creating a rhythm that felt less like an event and more like a gathering at a friend’s home, one where every detail was crafted with intention.
