On January 11, Briddhi hosted an interactive gathering at Aloft, Thamel, bringing together mentors, entrepreneurs, and experts from diverse sectors. The event aimed to share Briddhi’s vision and mission while encouraging experienced professionals to join the initiative as mentors.

Briddhi is a mentorship-led initiative grounded in Nepal’s rich entrepreneurial legacy and a strong belief in the power of shared experience. While Nepali entrepreneurs continue to demonstrate resilience, creativity, and ambition, many young business leaders face uncertainty and limited access to guidance. Briddhi was created to bridge this gap, guided by the conviction that timely mentorship can shape businesses, careers, and ultimately the nation’s economic future.

At its core, Briddhi is about people, experienced business leaders choosing to serve, and aspiring entrepreneurs seeking direction. As highlighted by Chairperson Suraj Vaidya, the platform is guided by the philosophy of “Giving Back, Giving Hope,” where experience becomes responsibility and leadership is expressed through service. Briddhi envisions a Nepal where mentorship is a shared culture, enabling enterprises to grow through wisdom, trust, and collective learning rather than capital alone.
The introduction was followed by two panel discussions. The first, moderated by Niraj Dhakal, featured mentors Kush Kumar Joshi, Founder and Managing Director of NEEK, and Anu Joshi Shrestha, Rural Development and Value Chain Expert at ICIMOD. The panel emphasised the importance of mentorship in entrepreneurship, with both speakers praising Briddhi for offering mentees the opportunity to learn directly from leaders they have long admired through media and public platforms.

The second panel, moderated by Charu Chadha, Editor and Marketing Communications Strategist at Media 9, included Reetal Rana, Managing Director of Mid-Valley International College; Chijman Gurung, Founder of Hangkook Sarang; Ajit Bikram Shah, CEO and Director of Lotus Holdings; and Avash Pradhan, Managing Partner at Rudolph Corporate Services Pvt. Ltd. The discussion explored practical challenges and opportunities in Nepal’s business landscape.
