Kathmandu witnessed a defining moment for its beauty and wellness industry with the opening of Cosmetika 2025, Nepal’s first dedicated trade show for cosmetics, beauty and wellness. Presented by House of Rajkarnicar, the three day expo marks a significant step towards creating a structured platform for an industry that has long thrived on talent, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.
The first day of Cosmetika 2025 set an assured tone, welcoming visitors into a carefully curated space that balanced professionalism with creative energy. With 33 stalls showcasing a diverse range of products and services, the expo offered a panoramic view of Nepal’s evolving beauty landscape. From skincare to haircare and wellness solutions, the presence of reputed names added credibility and excitement to the event.

Among the standout participants were Akarshan Hair Clinic, Blue Sky Saloon, Homa, Enbio, True Derma and Klean X Beauty, each bringing their unique approach to modern beauty and wellness. Their presence highlighted the growing sophistication of the market, as well as the increasing demand for science backed, ethical and locally relevant solutions.
Beyond product displays, Cosmetika 2025 positioned itself as a space for meaningful dialogue. A key highlight of the day was a talk show titled Rethinking Skin Care for Nepal, led by Dr Bigyan Joshi and Nirum Basnet of Sampada Health Care. The session explored the importance of understanding Nepal’s climate, lifestyle and skin concerns, encouraging a shift away from generic global trends towards more personalised and practical skincare approaches.

The expo also came alive through live demonstration sessions, offering visitors an immersive look at professional techniques and emerging innovations. These sessions, paired with free samplings, allowed attendees to engage directly with brands, fostering trust and informed choice in an increasingly crowded market.

Taking place from December 27 to 29 at Amrapali Banquet Center, Naxal, Kathmandu, Cosmetika 2025 brings together industry leaders, emerging entrepreneurs and beauty innovators under one roof. More than a trade show, it signals a growing confidence within Nepal’s beauty and wellness industry.
As the event unfolds over the next two days, Cosmetika 2025 stands as a timely reminder that Nepal’s beauty narrative is no longer on the sidelines. It is organised, ambitious and ready to take centre stage.
