- Navigating the Business Ecosystem for Sustainable Growth: Transitioning from a full-time employee to an entrepreneur with 14 years of experience has equipped me with a deep understanding of the business landscape. Achieving success in entrepreneurship demands not just concentration on the core business but also committed efforts on both the demand and supply fronts. In our ever-changing market, building a strong ecosystem is vital for long-term growth. This involves pushing our capabilities to the maximum, enabling us to secure a competitive edge within our industry.
- Responsibility and Leadership in Breaking Barriers: Embarking on my journey, the absence of women’s representation and leadership in organisations became evident. This realisation gave me a profound sense of responsibility beyond my endeavours. Acknowledging that my contributions extend beyond individual accomplishments and career milestones, I bear the responsibility of shaping the path for future generations. As I strive to pave the way for young girls and boys, I embrace the role of a catalyst for change, burdened with dismantling conventional barriers.
- Journey with Purpose and Adaptability: Resilience is a crucial aspect of the entrepreneurial journey. Making decisions involves calculating risks and promptly reflecting on your actions. Learning from these reflections and applying them to subsequent steps enhances your strength. Despite days when it seems like nothing is going well, analysing what went wrong and swiftly making improvements is key. Your passion or purpose becomes the driving force behind your success.

Throughout my journey, the most important thing has been to never stop learning and experimenting with new things. If you have an interest or a hobby, you should pursue it with an open heart. This mindset has propelled me forward, instilling a passion for experimentation and discovery. These pillars have not only facilitated personal and professional growth but have also enriched the tapestry of my life, contributing to a fulfilling and dynamic existence. Embarking on my journey, I have gleaned invaluable lessons that underscore the essence of unwavering dedication.
- Hard work: The first pivotal takeaway is the significance of hard work, as it invariably yields superior results
- Patience is the key. We should always learn to trust the process and wait patiently after our hard work.
- Recognizing the importance of being kind, not only to oneself but also to others, has added depth to my journey, fostering positive interactions and relationships.

In my more than 50 years of art career as a traditional self-taught Nepali artist, I have had experiences of ups and downs; happiness and sadness were part of my journey, and failure came along with success. These all made me strong and tolerant, and they made me understand the power of humility. I don’t know the measuring tools for success and failure, but the three things that helped me have a successful career are:
- Respecting and trusting what you are doing. There is no good or bad job skill. Any kind of work begins with struggle, uncertainty, and confusion. When you trust in your work or your skills, the confusion will disappear, and by respecting it, there will be supporters to push you forward like the wind behind the sailing boat to your destination.
- Consistency. Your work needs continuity and consistency to achieve success, as opportunities lie at the core of your being. Consistency in your work makes you a clear-minded person. You can see the opportunities, but they are not easy to achieve; you need skills and constant practice to grab them.
- Upgrading. If you have mastery of your skill, you still need to study continuously to upgrade. All human beings have pride in success, but we leave very powerful but subtle components that might be unseen and left over. Restudy and new research can be a powerful duo for spreading your wings. It is very important how you present in any work; there is a space to dance to present yourself, but it is completely different from others, which makes you get a great paradigm shift.

- Believe in yourself: Having a positive mentality is very important in everyday life. Even though you may be wealthy, if you have a poor mindset, you will be unable to break free from it. Nothing is impossible. Everybody is capable of completing tasks. We just have to find our strengths and where we can fit and invest our potential for a productive life.
- Don’t be discouraged by your failure: Throughout our goal-oriented life journey (related to our journey of career), we encountered numerous challenges and barriers. Even though we might fall and fail a lot, we should learn from our mistakes and move forward to make the journey better. Consider your weakness a strength.
- Be hopeful and keep working hard: Everything has its time. In God’s time, everything is given. We must not give up on pursuing our goal. However, to achieve our goal, we must put our best effort, 100% into everything we do.
Always remember to make good use of your time, money, and talent. Everybody’s life path and experiences are unique. However, we can also learn from others.

Nobody’s life’s success means the same to another person. The three things that helped me achieve a successful career are:
- Tap into your power of manifestation. Take a moment to visualise your desires and understand the underlying reasons driving them. Uncovering the purpose behind your goals cultivates inner motivation and a clear sense of direction. This initial introspection is often the most challenging aspect, constituting roughly fifty percent of the journey towards success.
- Embrace self-discipline. Dedicate yourself to diligently acquiring the knowledge and skills essential for achieving your desired outcome. The challenge lies in the absence of external oversight, requiring you to hold yourself accountable and foster personal growth.
- Despite facing moments of temptation to quit and periods of self-doubt, commit to continuous effort. When confronted with such challenges, revisit the initial motivations that led you down this path. This reflective exercise serves as a reminder of your chosen journey and fuels the determination needed to persevere.
