Unilever Nepal in collaboration with Maiti Nepal has launched a Women Empowerment CSR Project titled ‘Asha’. The unveiling of the logo was held at Maiti Nepal on December 6. The skill-based project aims to empower women who are vulnerable to trafficking and violence. Project ‘Asha’ is hope for women who are driven to change and want to make a difference in their life and society by generating income and financial stability for themselves. The module includes vocational training ranging from beauty courses to excavator operator, along with financial knowledge of investing and saving and also employment opportunities for women.
