Kasa successfully broke its own record of the highest altitude fashion runway on September 23 in the Everest region. On October 1, it showcased ‘Buddhist Fashion Line’ at Soaltee Hotel, Kathmandu. The collection underwent two years of extensive research by the designer Ramila Nemkul. Kasa is on a mission to make Nepal the sustainable fashion capital of the world with its designs made with non violent silk and pashmina from biodegradable fabric. The runway was highlighted with 13 international models and one Nepali model flaunting the designer collection. The show was aimed to promote sustainable fashion and spread awareness on climate change and melting glaciers of the Everest region.
