Sculpture art is an age-old art expression that was practiced from the Licchavi period and is one of the finest traditions of Nepal. To familiarise future generations with the rich art form and heritage, @chandra.s.dangol has showcased sculptors’ work bringing his imagination to life at Dalai-la art space, Thamel. In the exhibition ‘Eternity’ the sculptor’s work on stone, wood, clay, and others are used with a lot of attention to detail. The artworks depict the rich Newari culture that represent the skilled craftsmanship of the art, rooted in Nepali culture. Religious, mystical, and symbolic figures can be seen in the exhibition which gives an insight into the intricacies of creating stone sculptures.
