KATHMANDU: Radisson Hotel Kathmandu conducted a ‘Fruit Soaking’ ceremony to celebrate the advent of Christmas and the start of winter festivities, on November 10.
Women professionals entrepreneurs, public figures, athletes, social activists mediapersons were invited to celebrate the mixing.
The executive chef of the hotel then took the event forward by giving a brief description of the fruit-soaking event, its history, and the procedures for mixing the fruits.
The attendees followed the chef’s guidelines and mixed the comprehensive list of dry fruits with spices, herbs, wine, beer, rum and whisky.
By the time-honored custom of ushering in the holiday season and in preparation for the forthcoming Christmas festivities, the cake-mixing event was conducted, symbolising joy, happiness, and the spirit of togetherness.
