What makes a person beautiful
Simplicity, intelligence, good humor and kindness
What makes you beautiful
Perhaps my trustworthiness. I hardly give up on the challenges I take on. I believe in action over words. I try to be original all the time. And I am forever thankful for everything I have around me.
What makes life beautiful
Curiosity, energy, nature and empathy
What makes you smile
Impromptu hugs, innocent eyes, my dog Kaiser’s slurpy kisses
Therapy for happiness
A good breakfast, walking by the cobbled street of an ancient town with my girls. A long, lazy lunch filled with laughter, vino and camaraderie. Overall, food is therapy.
Daisy by Marc Jacobs, Chloe
On your wish list
To see the Northern Lights. And I also want to explore South America with my girls.
You stay fit by
A good night sleep; not poking my nose in everyone’s business. It works magic for my mental sanity.
Best year of your life
Now! Each day I pledge to make it better than yesterday.
Gorgeous bags from my recent trip and some fabulous art.
Wash: Clarins, Tone: Ole Henriksen, Serum: Paula’s Choice, and dollops of sunscreen.
iPhone/ iPad and MacBook; these are my lifeline
I take inspiration from many people and circumstances. Effortless and quirky is my kind of style.
Always in your handbag
My purse, medicines for migraine, phone, a book
What do you do to unwind
Netflix and chilling works for me most of the times. Retail therapy and good laughter are magical.
Favourite holiday destination
Amsterdam and my holiday home
You always struggle with
Placing faces with their names
Best thing about being you
I do things for others without any expectation. While I am growing, I want everyone around me to grow and prosper. I have no fear of missing out.
Three things you absolutely do to look your best
• Marie Kondo’ing my wardrobe every season
• I know my body and am super comfortable with my size, shape and colour
• Conscious fashion over trends
On a bad hair day
Tie a bun
One tip that makes you photo ready
I don’t put my daily life on social media so that saves me from a lot of faux pas
One thing you can’t do without
What advice would you give to your younger self
Accept who you are. You do not need to make everyone happy. It will drain you out. Make yourself a priority.
Regé-Jean Page is drool worthy
A quote you live by
“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”
Have you ever been told to change something about yourself
Oh, a lot! I was expected to be an extrovert.
• Self introspection
• One must have a hobby and pursue it
• Appreciate and honour nature
