Sushant KC has announced the release of his new single, “Hawa le”. It has been a work in progress for over six months and is finally ready to reach the ears of his listeners.
The completion of this song has a venturesome story. While returning to Nepal after his show at Joon Fest 2022 in the UK, he tested covid positive and was quarantined in Doha for seven days. Fortunately, he had his laptop, which allowed him to scratch up the beat for this song.
When he concluded his Australia tour in October, he went to Foeseal’s Studio, AtFoe’s, to work on this song. In the meantime, he was also planning for the video of this song. As the instigation of this had been quite unusual, he decided to make a video that would be enticing to the eyes of the viewers. In December, he set an entourage to Pokhara to film this music video featuring various adventure sports and activities that would possibly enthuse domestic tourists, at the least, to try out and explore newer experiences.
In recent times, he has been exploring and experimenting with his music with tracks like “Yaad”, “Kheladi”, “Bhaagera”, and more, as a small attempt to bring contemporary global music flavours to our industry as well. Hawa Le is a dancehall song, a crossover of Reggae, Dub and Urbano music.
