Federation of Woman Entrepreneurs’ Associations (FWEAN) launched its Business Development Centre (BDC), making FWEAN the first South Asian association to take this step. The launch was held on March 2 at Hotel Radission in presence of Dr. Ram Kumar Phuyal, member of the National Planning Commission as chief guest, and Nona Deprez, Ambassador, Delegation of European Union to Nepal as special guest.
BDC aims to provide business development services to women entrepreneurs in Nepal to digitalize women in business. It is designed to be a one-step solution for all services needed for potential and existing women entrepreneurs where the primary offering is a Help Desk through which women can access several services i.e. business registration, annual compliance, legal advice, branding and many more. Further BDC includes an app where entrepreneurs will have their own dashboard focusing on digitalizing bookkeeping for improved finance.
