The 5th International Women’s Trade Expo launched on September 2. The expo, which is being organised by the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal (FWEAN) virtually, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Speaking at a press conference to inform about the five-day expo, FWEAN President Reeta Simha said that the fair would prove to be a cornerstone in promoting and marketing the products produced by women in the national and international markets.
According to the association, the expo is an opportunity to bring together women entrepreneurs of Nepal in a common digital platform and showcase their products and services to both domestic and international buyers, also give them the market opportunity to expand and promote their business through virtual exhibition.
The main attraction of the expo was handicraft products, agro products, ornaments, wooden products, and decoration accessories.
