The Face of Nepal, organized by Asia Model Festival Nepal, trains and selects models from Nepal to participate in the international pageant, Asia Model Festival – “Face of Asia, Korea.
Held annually, this is a platform has been created for aspiring models to shine and elevate their careers in the international arena. The top three winners will represent Nepal in Korea. The Asia Model Festival, sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, originates from Korea and showcases Asian models and fashion and beauty-related industries to the world, while also introducing world-class brands and artists to Asia.
This year Face of Nepal was held at the Radisson Hotel with a total of 18 participants: Biyush Gupta, Elina Bhuju, Siddhartha Gautam, Angela Giri, Samvab Moktan, Salina Chaudhary, Anshu Kunwar, Sudip Osti, Sherap Gyaltsen Lama, Kashis Subba, Saugat Pradhan, Purnika Sijapati, Aarya Shrestha, Kushika Prasai, Prabin Accharya, Dikshya Awasthi, Ayushme Pradhan and Smriti Shrestha. The participants underwent rigorous trainings and guest interactions.
The jury members for this year were: Suhang Nembang, Charu Chadha, Ramila Nemkul, Udip Shrestha and Raulen Lee.
The winners of the Face of Nepal 2023 are Biyush Gupta, Siddhartha Gautam and Kashis and Smriti Shrestha. This year four people made it as finalists but only two will be going forward to the contest in Korea. As a sub category, WOW Popular title was won by Aarya Shrestha who receives an exclusive fashion edit with WOW magazine.
