Kathmandu: On October 10, 2023, the Program “Dignified Workplace” was officially launched by the USAID at the Marriott Hotel, in collaboration with FWEAN, Nepal CRS Company, and Mitra Samaj. The primary focus of the program is to raise awareness and foster a comprehensive understanding of the essential elements required to create a workplace characterised by respect and positivity among employees, thereby promoting harmony for all genders.
This initiative aims to promote the establishment of menstrual-friendly workplaces, ultimately enhancing the well-being of female employees. The event included Shreejana Rana, a Founder Member, among its distinguished Guests of Honour.
During the event, FWEAN’s Immediate Past President, Neeru Rayamajhi Khatri, emphasised the significance of creating Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHH) friendly environments in workplaces to ensure the safety and well-being of the female workforce across all private sectors.
Notable attendees included FWEAN’s 2nd Vice President Sunita Vaidya Shrestha, Treasurer Sabita Subedi, Board Member Neeta Regmi, Alpana Rajbhandari, and BDC Manager Abhilasha Poudel.
