19-YEAR-OLD TECHNOPRENEUR WINS WAIWAI GLOCAL TEEN HERO NEPAL 2021

Pranjal Chalise, 19 year old technopreneur from Kathmandu has won the title of “WaiWai Glocal Teen Hero Nepal 2021” in a virtual award ceremony organised by Glocal. It is the seventh iteration of the Glocal Teen Hero Award, which is the only national platform in Nepal to identify and honour outstanding teenagers whose creativity, commitment, experience and strong leadership have helped them achieve success in life.
The teenagers were selected from a pool of 611 applications from across the nation. The applicants had demonstrated their skills and expertise, and made an impact in their society from areas like academia, social work, literature, entrepreneurship, computer programming, innovation, and environmental conservation. The award recognises and honours the exceptional teen whose work is sustainable and who can think out of the box addressing the issues and creating an impact in society.
